As a parent of a current 4th grade student, I cannot say enough good things about North Star Academy. My child has been attending North Star since 1st grade, and this school along with its incredible teachers and staff has truly changed our lives.When we started, my child was struggling with severe school anxiety and behavioral challenges. Today, he genuinely enjoys school and feels supported every single day. The education plan created for him is thoughtfully tailored to his individual needs, and the growth we’ve seen academically, emotionally, and socially has been remarkable.The Special Education team is absolutely top notch. They truly listen to parents, collaborate openly, and consistently act in what is genuinely best for each child not just what’s easiest or most convenient. That level of care and follow-through makes all the difference.On top of that, North Star offers two specialists every day, including outdoor education, art, Spanish, and more. These opportunities enrich the students’ learning experience and keep them engaged in ways that go far beyond the classroom.We also greatly appreciate the school hours (8:45–3:45), which are far more conducive to working families than many traditional schedules.North Star Academy has created a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment where my child is not only learning, but thriving. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this school community.

Our son has been going here for 1.5 years and we've been very happy with our decision to have him go here. The new director has done a great job at communicating with parents and making everyone feel welcome.
