Indian Prairie Elementary is such a warm and welcoming school! The teachers truly care about each child’s success, and the principal knows students by name, which makes it feel like a close-knit family. Every staff member we’ve met has been so kind and supportive. The surrounding neighborhood is safe, friendly, and a wonderful place for kids to grow. My only wish is that the school went up to 5th grade instead of stopping at 3rd. The speech therapy program here has been wonderful and has really helped my child improve his speech. It would be great if there could be a little more time dedicated to it, as it would build on the already excellent support the school provides. My advice for new parents is to join Indian Prairie’s PTO Facebook page — it’s a great way to stay updated on events, fundraisers, and ways to get involved in the school community.

this school is a good school as children safety, learning, programs, but if your child is not a white child, its gonna be hard to make friends and having fun with others students, I believe children there have orientated from their parents to not play or talk to others children if they are not white. I am looking for another elementary school have diversity race to transfer my daughter.

This school is a small community, so everyone benefits greatly from the ability to easily communicate with the parents and develop an intimate knowledge of each student's strengths and weaknesses. Each family and staff member cares deeply about instilling the knowledge of God, his world, and how to live in it. I highly recommend it!
