this school is a good school as children safety, learning, programs, but if your child is not a white child, its gonna be hard to make friends and having fun with others students, I believe children there have orientated from their parents to not play or talk to others children if they are not white

So much so that we eventually transferred him to a different school 15 minutes away from our house and chose to self transport. He has been thriving ever since. His academic scores

Many staff members have left, parents and former employees removing their students from the school. Ask how many parents are on the PTO. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIndian Prairie Elementary is such a warm and welcoming school! The teachers truly care about each child’s success, and the principal knows students by name, which makes it feel like a close-knit family. Every staff member we’ve met has been so kind and supportive. The surrounding neighborhood is safe, friendly, and a wonderful place for kids to grow. My only wish is that the school went up to 5th grade instead of stopping at 3rd. The speech therapy program here has been wonderful and has really helped my child improve his speech. It would be great if there could be a little more time dedicated to it, as it would build on the already excellent support the school provides. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy youngest children attend, and we've had wonderful experiences. Everyone is helpful, kind and the building is beautiful. I do wish there were more after school activities boys could join, as my daughter has attened girl scouts, girls on the run and even joined a cheer leading group... And there has been nothing for my son, but over all...
