Middle School parent here- Indian Creek is a truly welcoming environment focused on individual development vs simply rigorous academic or athletic competition. That being said we have found the academics to be excellent and the athletic opportunities adequate. We have appreciated the emphasis on caring and compassion. It’s quite honestly shocking to me that there is a review on here suggesting that rampant bullying. I come from a family of educators and have repeatedly questioned my kids on bullying and have found no evidence of it nor have any parents in our chat group mentioned it. A lot of ICS kids have been at the school since kindergarten all the way to middle school so if I were to find any fault it would be that it is a challenge for the kids that enter later to feel part of the group. On the flip side, it is evidence that families are happy with the school - many driving their kids from a considerable distance to attend. There is frequent family engagement and responsiveness.

TALS is a nurturing child centered environment where childhood is truly honored! The in depth studies, my daughter took part in during her preschool years at TALS are still relevant for her today at age seven. For example, she will insist that we get a photo of an insect of interest and then research origins just like the bug study in her TALS portfolio. In fact, she will frequently read through her TALS portfolio with great pleasure and pride. Ms. Georgia's kind, gentle spirit envelopes both the children in her care and their families. Our family feels that the foundation provided at TALS has been an integral part of our daughter's success at the larger public school setting she currently attends.
