"Edgewater events on holidays and plenty of restaurants and small town feel to most of the residents. There is the jazz fest, the Christmas celebration and plenty of other events "

"A wonderful place to live! Close to a lot but also feels private. Safe neighborhood to go for walks to the park or just around the block. Lots of local restaurants that are in walking distance as well. Traffic is not that bad either and usually can get most places conveniently."

"20 miles to work. I drive on the 4 freeway so not exactly ideal but it could be worse. In Los Ángeles I had a 30 mile commute"

"Many friendly people walking their dogs and everyone picks up after their dogs. All dogs are leashed while on walks and everyone seems to be very respectful of space while on walks as well"

"People love to walk their dogs and wave to you. I have not seen any issues with dog owners. Some lawns have signs to say pick up after your dog to encourage a clean lawn etc. A lot of stray and house cats outside too. Beware of coyotes at 3am type of hours. "

"Great neighborhood, safety is key and I don’t have to worry about it since I’ve moved here, my favorite part of it it’s that all my neighbors wave at me from far when we see each other on our drive ways. "

"Great dog community but not everyone is good at cleaning up after their dog. Plenty of sidewalk space and a great park nearby for them to play on or off leash. Depending on your dog’s behavior of course and how well you trust them"

"I walk my dog in this neighborhood at all hours and feel safe! There have been coyote spotted, though I haven’t seen any personally. Other dog walkers are friendly too, but don’t forget your bags to pick up after your dog or some neighbors will be very upset!"

"College Park is totally dog friendly area! Even Starbucks has a dog bowl out front! The sidewalks are wide the neighborhoods are friendly and dog lovers seem to pick up their dog litter and dispose of it properly. College Park can’t be beat! I love it there. "

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average2025-2026 is the 1st year they started classes for children with autism. They are probably still learning but they are not prepared or educated with dealing with kids on the spectrum. The assistant principal is completely rude (i also met others who have met her and also said she wasnt kind). My child loves school, but he did not want to go here. He is non verbal so it breaks my heart that he couldnt tell me what happened. It took 2 whole weeks to get him regulated, after we had to pull him out of this school.Parent Review3mo ago10 Reviews - Lake Silver Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat, neighborhood school, that needs more CP parents to opt in to! Neighborhood teachers that are loving and inclusive! They are a historic school with a beautiful PI playground ( physically impaired) that is one a kind! Students get to be around students with differing abilities! A one of a kind school in the heart of CP a true diverse school! School grades are only a part of the picture my friends, there’s a lot to unpack there-but the teachers are what make this school amazing!Other Review2y ago11 Reviews - St. Vincent's Anglican Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLack of Medical Accommodation and Regrettable Dismissal of Student: I am writing this review to express my profound disappointment regarding the recent dismissal of my son, Maximus, from St. Charles Borromeo. Despite our family’s transparency regarding his chronic asthma, the administration demonstrated a concerning lack of flexibility and a failure to provide reasonable accommodations necessary for his health and academic success.Education should be an inclusive environment, yet we found the school’s approach to be rigid and unsupportive. Rather than engaging in a collaborative dialogue to manage Maximus’s medical needs, the school opted to terminate his enrollment a decision that feels both discriminatory and contrary to the values of a supportive educational community.Key Concerns:• Failure to Accommodate: An unwillingness to implement standard health protocols or environmental adjustments for a student with a documented chronic condition.• Administrative Inflexibility: A preference for exclusion over the pursuit of equitable solutions.• Misalignment with Mission: The handling of this matter was inconsistent with the compassionate, student-centered environment the institution claims to foster. It is deeply regrettable that a student’s medical vulnerability resulted in a loss of education rather than a show of support. I would caution any parent of a child with specific health requirements to carefully consider whether this institution is truly equipped or willing to meet their needs.Parent Review3mo ago26 Reviews - Orlando Junior Academy
