    "It’s a nice neighborhood. It’s up-and-coming at the end of the day. No neighborhood is perfect but it is a comfortable neighborhood. As far as racism is concerned it’s mixed, but I know a lot of Latinos in this neighborhood that are good people."

    "Full of construction work being done and transients on every corner asking for money. Traveling within the city is full of pot holes and they do not seem to be fixing them any time soon. West sacramento is conveniently close to downtown sacramento and houses the rivercats team "

    "Most people have their dogs on leashes. There are two good sized dog parks. There are, however, a fair amount of dogs running loose and lost pets."

    " very quiet safe and loving community. I love living in a area where I can walk down the street and feel safe. "

    "Most of the area near Evergreen is very family friendly and relatively safe in comparison to other areas. However, I've lived off of W Capitol for 5 years, and it's always been pretty quiet until recently, an issue I have is the increase in petty crime and homeless encroachment. The parks and complexes are overrun and filthy now. The trailer parks that used to be clean and well kept are now the stereotype of what people think of trailer parks. I've since bought a house in Natomas and will not look back. "

    "Fire department drives around on Halloween and Christmas playing music and Santa rides on the truck waving to kids and they hand out candy canes. It’s awesome and everybody is really into it. "

    "I have lived in this area since 2006 I moved away briefly for one and a half years I am glad I am back at the family-oriented neighborhood even if you have your referee Parts the good outweighs the bad."
