Read what parents are saying about Westfield Village Elementary SchoolI will be homeschooling my kids because I do not trust the teachers at this school
Posted by a parent on 12/4/2019Terrible need better prinipal who cares about kids.
Posted by a parent on 11/3/2019The teachers at this school are very dedeicated and hard working; however, the principal at this school cares more about her appearance, than about the staff she is leading, and following school policies and BEST practices. Hopefully the school will find a more productive and successful leader.
Posted by a community member on 6/7/2016My daughter is in third grade this year and new to this school, 3 weeks into the school year I hear that her teacher is leaving. After digging deeper I find out that there is no teacher for my daughters class and they are going to bring a new substitute every 30 daysand that there is a total of 5 classes in the same situation! I asked the office what was being done about it and was old the district is starting interviews soon. Shouldn't they have done that before school started? How are these kids going to get what they deserve with a new teacher all the time?
Posted by a parent on 10/1/2015I'm new to the area but I have never been in a school office where all the staff were so rude. They ignore you while you stand there waiting to be helped and they seem so unhappy. It's a shame that their faces are the first you see because you need to go in there first. I also noticed how many parents just hang out in front of the school, why is this happening? Should I be concerned? I also have been told many false things especially when it comes to transportation! If you don't know, don't lie to me just so I will go away. The staff just isn't engaged and seriously lack customer skills. However, I like my sons teacher. She has made him feel welcome and apart of her class. Kudos to Miss R. I hope the office staff isn't a reflection of the other staff there.

Extremely rude to subs... at least the time I was there like 6 years ago.Teacher Review3y ago - Elkhorn Village Elementary School

The bilingual education that they have reciveied has been awsome and as years go by their bilingual skills have gotten stronger. Thank you so much for all your hard work. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school you think is great is not really as much for students. There is a lot of fighting and the official punishment for fighting is one to three days most of the time.In the fight I was resent in a girl ripped of my shirt and only got a one day suspension for fighting not for her ripping off my shirt. I know this because I was there an she got the same punishment as the other girls. The worst thing is some one video taped the whole fight and put it on social media. There is also a lot of bulling. They fix this by making the two students talk face to face. Often or in some cases starting fights or the issue to get worst. When I had a bulling case where I was the victim they wrote it on scratch paper an when my parents asked about the problem they had no record of it an said it was a miss understanding which it wasn't because they would not talk to the witnesses of her bulling me .Other Review9y ago - Two Rivers Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am deeply saddened by the response to bullying at this school. We, like most families, were excited to attend the local school in our community, but after our experience with classroom bullying coupled by an unacceptable lack of response from the principal, and bullying coming downward from the teachers themselves following complaints, my child has been removed. If your child is picture perfect and does not require any assistance or guidance whatsoever, they will probably succeed here. If your child requires social emotional assistance, homework assistance, or assistance commuting, they will be ignored and discarded and will very quickly grow to hate school - and we cannot continue to do this to our babies.Parent Review1mo ago - Holy Cross College Prep Academy
