Excellent overall. The school is one of the more wholesome places to send your kids in the inland empire. I attended Calvary Chapel from 4th-12th grade and am glad I did, albeit with caveats. The school will put students at a disadvantage academically when applying to top-tier schools. No doubt about this -- no AP courses offered, and only a few honors courses. However, students can easily make up for this dificiency by participating in clubs and sports. It's easy for even the least athletic students (who wouldn't even make the team at a top high school) to letter in three sports just by showing up.I do feel like I could have, and should have, had a more impressive college application had I attended a different high school. That being said, it's also hard to calculate just how much benefit one derived from being in a smaller fishbowl rather than a lake or ocean. Overall, I am glad I went here. My oldest brother was able to get into one of the military academies despite the school's inherent handicaps, and I was able to get into UCLA, although when I arrived, I found myself about a semester behind everyone else who had loaded up on AP credits.
