Shopping at the famous "Fred's General Mercantile" is two miles away along with Brick Oven Pizza, The Alpen restaurant and bar, Holy Smokes BBQ, Mi Jalisco Mexican Grill and more. Just five miles down the road is the bustling town of Banner Elk, home to Lees-McRae College and numerous restaurants, bars, live music, theater and shopping locations.
The property is available from Early August 2025 through May 2026. The pricing is as follows: 6 - 9 month rental: $1,600 per month, plus utilities. 4 - 5 month rental: $1,800 per month, plus utilities. 1 - 3 month rental: $2,400 per month, plus utilities. Pets will be considered on an individual basis.

Our tenant would be responsible for water and electric bills (Wifi is provided) as well as first, last and security deposit. No smoking please!
We are looking for a responsible individual(s) who will treat our beloved home as if it was their own. The ideal rental period is from early-August to mid-May. There is some flexibility in that date range. Our home could be idea for a college student(s) or professor. I am also a college professor! There is a $200 monthly discount for anyone who commits to renting for six months or more!
