Acerca de esta Casa

En inglés
This dreamy surf house is the perfect spot for a large family or group. It features three separate living units - a 2br 1.5ba main house, an attached studio apartment, and a separate 1br guest cottage. This gives everyone in your group plenty of privacy, while the outdoor spaces allow you to come together for meals or to socialize.

The property has an amazing location. Tucked in the one block between the 101 and the ocean, you have equally convenient access to the uncrowded beaches (Beacons is nearest, about 3 blocks away) and the shops, restaurants, and cafes along the 101. The property is set back off the street and has a uniquely private and secluded feel.

The property has been recently renovated and is fully furnished. The main house features a huge cantina door along with a pop-up bar window, all of which connects the inside and outside spaces and makes outdoor dining/lounging a breeze. A brand new kitchen makes a great gathering spot, with plenty of room to relax to watch a game or listen to records. The huge master bedroom has a king bed and a twin daybed. The airy loft has a queen bed.

The attached studio also has great indoor/outdoor connection and is thoughtfully designed for comfort and privacy, featuring a queen bed and a large sofa bed.

The detached "surf house" cottage has 1 large bedroom with king bed, a fold down couch, and one of the coolest "indoor/outdoor" bathrooms you will ever see, where you step out to your own completely private, enclosed outdoor shower under the stars/palm trees.

All of the spaces tie nicely to the outdoor areas, with comfy outdoor furniture, string lights, and heat/shade as needed. There is a wonderful heated outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach, along with beach chairs, umbrella, and other beach gear.

Available primarily for monthly rentals, ranging from $10,000-$20,000/month depending on dates. Discounts for longer stays. Shorter stays can be discussed but would be limited only to the main house/studio per local rules - happy to discuss your situation to see if we can make it work. Please inquire for fast response.

Available as a furnished rental for 30 days or longer. Option for shorter stays for part of the property and happy to discuss. $12,500 for monthly stays through May 2026. Price negotiable for longer stays. Price generally varies from $10,000-$20,000 depending on the month, with discounts for longer stays.

"The neighborhood is a mix of retired people and new families. It’s not as communal as other cities I’ve lived in with many people driving in and out of the community and then staying inside or in their backyard. The gates parks prohibit kids meeting there unless they belong to an association. It’s odd to see a gated park that children cannot play on , meet new kids that live across the street, etc. I’m used to larger cities where there are more public places to gather, meet your neighbors, and create a stronger community."
  • Tadie
"It's the best neighborhood I've lived to raise active, well-adjustef, wholesome kids. Schools all have a ton of activities and kids ride bikes everehere. "
  • Steven Biebel
"Encinitas Christmas parade, art walk, street fair, 4th of July parade and the moonlight beach is very welcoming. "
  • Tadie
"It’s the best place ever to raise a family. Kids can walk to elementary, middle and high school school. "
  • Captaing
"Leucadia Oaks Park is a meeting place for Neighbors. There is a skate park there the beaches only a short walk away."
  • Trulia User
"Great area and great schools. Some great parks and close to the beach. Great for being outside but the hills and lack of sidewalks in areas makes it less walkable than other areas. Package theft does happen and people don’t clean up after their pets well. The rent is also really high around here. "
  • Trulia User
"safe place fun and easy access great temperature and friendly and very clean great restaurant and plenty of parking if needed "
  • Trulia User
"Cardiff is a great place to live for everyone. Great restaurants and seaside market is amazing. The beaches are great too. "
