We review applications in their entirety including employment, income, savings, credit score and history, background check, and rental history. In some cases we will require last month's rent to be paid in advance depending on the applicant's credit history. SMHA will not approve this property for Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher program due to their price restrictions.

A security deposit equal to 1-month of rent is required to hold the unit after approved application. Rent is always due on the first. We prorate rent for the first month as required. In some cases, last month's rent may be required in advance depending on the applicant's credit, savings, and income.

Residents are responsible for paying utility charges including water, electric, gas, trash ($20 per month), alarm / smart home monitoring ($53.15 per month), pest control and filter service ($20 per month) on the Resident's Portal. Not all Springfield is bad. Also the ymca is a good community even center to. This is my home town and there is still good left in this town. Not all is bad. Also the soup kitchen where it feeds the homeless and also gives the people clothes. There is also basketball courts where the community can get together and play basketball and enjoy it and have fun. There’s a skate park also where younger kids skate and ride there bikes at. There is a lot of bike trails and fields to play sports "
