"Lots of third world streets and hills to walk the dogs on, and with good views. There are some grumpy folks who can't abide dogs."

"There is good public transportation to downtown but is harder to use it to get across the river. My guess is most people use cars to commute to work (though I have a few coworkers who bike to work)."

"This neighborhood is quite, but I can bank, grocery shop, grab a sandwich and coffee, then get my hair done...all within walking distance to my home. It's also an easy drive to downtown Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, and Lake Oswego. "

"I've lived in Hillsdale for 15 years and it's going to be a hard neighborhood to leave. The people are great, the schools are fine, the local businesses and community organizations are wonderful. There are religious and community organizations within walking distance, parks, a farmers market, a library, and some great places to eat. To live here is to love it."
