"Living on the water is amazing, very little traffic, quiet at night, restaurants right on the water to walk to - and living on the water!! Watching sunrises and sunsets, sailboat races on summer evenings. Breezes off the river..close to the airport and downtown Vancouver and the waterfront restaurants there.."

"Very nice in the day time but when the sun goes down the other kind of humans come out.... they steal, go threw trash and cost people money, not many people are interested in the island. "

"This is a great neighborhood! People get to know one another and stop to visit and share what they are up to. Very walkable to all restaurants and shops on Hayden Island. The Columbia River is magical to watch and the seasons are enjoyable from the Floating Home."

"A quiet community. Nature everywhere: seals, blue herrons, ducks! Very nice, close to shopping and public transportation. Neighbors are friendly but not nosy and don't complain. Having a boat just out back is super, can enjoy the river instantly. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful."

"Unfortunately this is not pet friendly - they might get a little better class of people living there and cut down on crime if they were a bit more pet friendly. Robbers don't like to mess with dogs."
