"Great area and great schools. Some great parks and close to the beach. Great for being outside but the hills and lack of sidewalks in areas makes it less walkable than other areas. Package theft does happen and people don’t clean up after their pets well. The rent is also really high around here. "

"A lot of owners out here. Definetly a hot spot for pets. Not sure about pet parks however. Only see well maintained pets."

"Cardiff-by-the-Sea is one of the greatest communities in San Diego. People watch out for one another, have a strong sense of pride for the neighborhood, and everyone is friendly. I can’t say anything bad about living here!!"

"We moved here in November so have been here just about a year. We are absolutely in love with the neighborhood. Everyone is friendly and there is a diverse group of neighborhood residents. The sunshine, the views, the local market and restaurants - were never leaving "
