  • Liz Rego
"I vacation here. Feels very safe and friendly even though. The main road through town is busy but the neighborhoods seem quiet. Water on both sides of Madeira beach makes for lovely views both east and west "
  • C130jamie
"I am an airline pilot and I need access to major airports in order to commute to work. Both St Pete (PIE) and Tampa International (TPA) are 25 to 30 minute drives away from my beach house. My wife worked in downtown St. Pete for a while and her drive was 20-25 minutes with commuter traffic. Car insurance premiums are a little higher in Florida than other places I have lived. "
  • Deja Mangos
"Some people let their (trained) dogs off leash at the beach… the community is kind and welcoming. I love it here. "
  • Rachsmolskis
"It’s beautiful lots of shops and dining and white sand beaches highly recommended visiting here especially in the winter "
  • Trevor.x
"Dogs get walked and there are a few spots with bags and cans. Welcoming neighborhood for pets ,but not one pig."
  • C130jamie
"People walk their dogs all the time. Some restaurants allow dogs at outdoor seating. No dogs allowed on the beach. "
  • Trulia User
"It is verrrry dog-friendly in this neighborhood. I am in Madeira Beach, about a half of a mile—right by John’s Pass. However, my dog just died, though. I am sooo sad. :( So sad. "
  • Trulia User
"I’m jus working on the area and it feels like home you feel super safe you can walk around the places with your dog and no problem "
  • Trevor.x
"The roads along the beach get busy during spring break and snowbird season. Timing of the bridge to Tampa can be a concern during rush hour."
  • Kris G.
"cant wait to get back into Seminole. too much construction, traffic, noisy cars and motorcycles and people on vacation that are ignorant to people that live in the buildings."
  • Kris G.
"I can't wait to get off the beach. too loud. sirens at all hours of the day. people bringing their dogs to the beach which they shouldn't. too much construction and traffic now."
