"I only live 4 miles away from where I work so my commute is amazing ! Where I live, a couple neighbors even help plow the road we live on and our driveway entrances in heavy snow to help the community as a whole. "
  • Heidi Capo
"We love it here with our 6 kids. Safe, friendly, close to stores and schools, and the King’s is the best church in the state! Healthy families to experience life with people, power, and purpose!"
  • Monica Whitehouse
"Wasilla is growing very fast. There are lots of new homes being built, hopefully new businesses will follow to make this a booming area "
  • Trulia User
"My commute isn’t far at all. Depending on the worsening traffic, it can take anywhere between 7-30 minutes. And that’s here in town. "
  • Monica Whitehouse
"Wasilla is a large space. Depending on where in this city you live, depends on how close or far your neighbor could be from your home. Dogs in our neighborhood for the most part are quiet, and people clean up after their dogs - most of the time. Lots of space in our neighborhood to walk, it’s considered rural so no sidewalks but very little traffic "
  • Helena Burkett
"I have lived in this neighborhood since I moved to Alaska seven years ago. It has been a great place for the kids to grow up. It is quiet and not very noisy. We see lots of Moose around here too. "
  • B.L
"This is a safe neighborhood with people who care about their neighbors and property. We are able to go walking with our pets and people are friendly. We have a shopping areas at a 5 minutes away car drive. "
  • Zykcb9wbyv
"Amazing down the road! The KGB is a great road way to use to get to and from work which allows for spending less on gas and transportation "
  • Trulia User
"It’s a quiet and peaceful place to live. People keep to themselves for the most part and the wildlife year round is amazing as well. "
  • Mimigigi0267
"Great neighborhood, close to stores and restaurants. Easy to get wherever you need to go. Roads are well maintained in winter "
  • Marlene Wilson
"You need a car to get around all though the dog park is tight down the street from where I live I could walk "
  • Marlene Wilson
"The neighborhood here is up and growing rapidly, new homes being built every year. When I moved here, four years ago, there were only four duplexes and one house being built."
  • Speedbump96
"It’s a quiet neighborhood, most neighbors get along and help one another. I would recommend this neighborhood to anyone wanting the quiet life with good neighbors."
  • A.pluth
"No sidewalks on most side streets, maintained in winter, lots of wildlife so fenced yards are better for kids."
  • Amy A.
"this area has become very busy. traffic is terrible. crime is on the upswing. most homes are nice, but have noticed drugs are on the rise with neighbors. "

  • Justine R.
"It’s a quick drive to lots of places and close to the schools. "
  • Zack
"Loose dogs everywhere. Just meandering and making the job of letting your own dogs outside, very interesting. "
  • Jriley156
"KGB Rd. Is dangerous. Until they redo this road it’s scary to drive to and from work. Especially during winter. "
  • Amber G.

  • Michelle D.

"Some dogs are escape artists and run the street, pooping in other peoples yards. The owners don’t bother to try to clean up. It’s too woodsy. Most people are very respectful with their animals. Walking them on leash and making sure they aren’t causing others problems."
  • Kendi B.
"this is not a safe spot for children to be in. there are a lot of crimes and fast drivers that swerve all over the road. "
  • Msliznbell
