3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school and most of their educators are a Joke! The principals are HORRIBLE! When there is a problem with your child they could careless. When they act like they care they talk to you, promise they will get back with you and that's the last you hear from them. The people at the Administration building are the same way; left multiple messages with no return call at all. The Principal talks down to your child and puts them down, as of she (assistant principal) is superior to them, she is a Joke, sjr doesn't know how to communicate with an adult, as we tried to have a conversation and she kept hanging up on me, but apologized when I went in person. She did have the security lie to me, saying she was not there. DONT send your child here, it's worth it to drive out of district for your child!!!Parent Review2y ago - Oak Creek Elementary School

There is just something about the secreties and main Counselor that just says to me that they wish the work day was over. "Nice area to walk with my dog. Pretty homes with a variety of architecture with winding, tree covered little streets and lots of dear throughout the year. There is access to Fountain Creek and a couple of different parks in walking distance as well as Ivy Wild if you want to walk to lunch or home from happy hour ;) There are lots of good hills for getting a good work out but they can be an issue on bicycles, but not a problem if u plan your route. Overall I have to say that this area is pretty close to perfect!"

"Live in an apartment off 115, it’s nice being able to walk to the grocery store. What makes it unique is that great hiking is a 10 minute drive away, so it’s very easy to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while. Overall nice area and would definitely recommend to anyone who is moving to Colorado Springs."

"People are very prone to call the animal police over rediculous reasons. If you know a dog doesn’t like you or will bite you don’t purposely go and pester him/her in it’s “home” or “territory”. Simple as that. The people here are rediculous and have no common sense and love to annoy and pester dogs."

"There are no events in this area that make the community special. It is the view of the mountains and all the outdoor activities that make it special. not the people. Also I'm not a very social person so that plays a part too."

"It has the best schools in all of Colorado Springs and is a very highly sought after area. The rent is very high and hard to find homes in this area due to the high demand to be in the school district. It is a very pleasant area and had a lot of things to offer in a high end neighborhood. The Broadmoor is one the best resorts in Colorado and the Cheyanne Mountain Zoo is in the top ten in the nation."
