Pentagon City Mall, minutes away, Potomac Yards and Hoffman Center, plus Old Town to visit or walk to. Easy Pentagon Metro access. Major bike paths (Mt. This is a great place to live, so near DC and still in a wooded, outdoorsy area! "

DC is so close and yet you do not feel confined to the city. Old Town, with their wonderful restaurants and shops, is only about a mile away.
