3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo upset! All of us parents were more shocked than anything else. When we left others did too. They told us to go to the cafeteria to eat a free breakfast, it was supposed to be with the kids not telling the parents to leave and eat a snack to f off! They didnt want the parents to even say goodbye. At woodmen hills where my other daughter went, for kindergarten they bring back the parents, do activities with the kids and parents together, and then it wraps up with teacher reading a story and parents leaving while kids are having fun. It hurts that this was the send off, there is no redo. This school, falcon elementary is so old, tape and paint peeling off of the walls and gym floor. The rooms are not colorful, they are cement color painted. The fire doors are old wood doors that are chipped all around. The parking and drop off is disgraceful! 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child was chronically bullied at this school in both 6th and 7th grade to the point of needing professional mental health help. The school did not notice she was going into depressive states but would tell us things like “if she doesn’t want to do it we can’t make her” after my child when from a very good student to completely withdrawing. When she told them she was being bullied they did nothing but when she defended herself they suspended her. They would not help us with homework assignments as far as giving us lists of what she owed we were always referred to websites and they were very cold. When I explained I worked 40 hours a week and would like a simpler way to get her assignments as I didn’t have the time to learn new apps they even ignored my emails. My daughter mentioned two kids were telling her to kill herself over and over and the teacher set her next to these kids. She asked to be moved and the teacher told her “it’s fine, they’ll leave you alone now that they’re next to friends”. Highly would not recommend this school. Some of the teachers are amazing but even with amazing teachers, I’d the administration is bad, it reflects on the whole school.Parent Review1y ago - Falcon High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst, off it should be mentioned that I have no hate for the school I just want to improve it. Second, For sake of privacy, I'm leaving out the teacher's name. Biology Honors, the style of teaching that this class uses is not good whatsoever. Our teacher has us take notes at home, then come into class expecting that we know everything, this is good for the next class, but you'll just end up forgetting the next 2 days or so, but for some students, this is a good style of teaching but for most, it's not. I love the teachers here but SOME classes do not teach the subject very well. As well, the system of grading here is really not the best, the tests are worth too many points, for context most of the coursework won't matter if you don't do well on a test. The only time it would help is if your grade is sitting right on the line of two letter grades. Even more, you can't switch classes after a certain period of time. But that wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that all the classes don't really get into work in the time frame in which you can switch classes. What I'm saying is the classes give you no real reason for you to switch until the deadline is up. To lunches, why is lunch 4 dollars? I know it's dominos's pizza and higher-quality food than the middle school nearby but 4 whole dollars? Why are half the appliances in the bathroom not working? Most sinks are not working, most blow dryers aren't working, and paper towel dispensers aren't stocked. I don't understand why they aren't working because you pay 4 dollars for lunch, 40 for an upcoming homecoming(not to mention all the other stuff your gonna get while you're there), and money to get into sports events, where's all of this going to(i suppose that isn't my business to know but, I'm just curious)?But, with all that mentioned there are a lot of good things about the school, The teachers themselves(not the classes) are amazing, the food is good(just a bit pricy), more freedom when it comes to phones, extracurricular activities, and the number of different classes to suit your future. A lot of the problems I mentioned above I believe could be fixed if mentioned by students, which, is my motive for writing this review. "My neighborhood has wild life including bears, owls, hawks, bobcats, deer coyotes, rabbits and deer mice. Great if you love wild life but bad that they can take your small animals for a meal. Beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Quiet and neighbors get together once a year for BBQ. Less than 20 houses on this cul-de-sac and we aren't in an HOA."

"The Colorado Center properties are very affordable and this is a great place to live for families with kids, singles, couples and retirees. The Colorado Center properties are within 5-10 minutes of Peterson Air Force Base, Schriever Air Force Base, and Fort Carson. I highly recommend this area."
