Never in my life had I experienced such frustrating school staff. The staff including the principal are SO UNPROGESSIONAL. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBest school to start your child at. It goes from 3K - Kindergarten. I wanted my child to start school in an environment that’s suitable for her and easy for her to adapt to and she has loved going here from the beginning. Now she’s graduating from Kindergarten this year moving up to another school. This was the perfect starting point. The neighborhood is safe as well. I love the staff at wahlstrom. The security guard does a wonderful job at keeping the kids safe and making sure everyone is good. If you’re nervous about getting your young one into a safe trustworthy school environment, enroll them into Wahlstrom. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has really turned around! The students’ test scores have gone up significantly and their behaviors are not nearly as bad as they used to be. Every school has their problems and Patrick Healy doesn’t have the issues they used to. The staff seems to work very hard nowadays to improve the school’s environment for the kids. "Its a beautiful area . The neighbors are friendly and look out for each other . Streets are quiet - homes are huge . The only downside are the roads . The cost of taxes are to high for the roads to be so bumpy and unmaintained."

"School football games. music in the park, movie night in the school playground or football field. That's all I know of. I do not move around much. when I get home work. I work in NYC. So, by the time I get home, there is not much I want to do."

"keep the area clean. do not let people dump their trash on our streets. our children walk them on a daily bases. also the parks are beautiful keep them clean as well. make sure you clean up after your dog . dodd street is busy too watch for speeding cars. "

"I’ve been living in this neighborhood for three years. The neighborhood is safe and the neighbors are friendly. The area is mostly clean and the park nearby is great for walking or just relaxing. Public transportation to nyc and other areas is easily accessible."

"This area of East Orange boarders Bloomfield and Glen Ridge. We are an extended family and watch out for intruders and unwanted activity. Additionally, we enjoy duel cover by both Bloomfield and East Orange police and fire departments. The area is also pet-friendly and everyone takes the to clean up after their pets. We are walking distance to Wassusing Park and downtown Bloomfield Center. Also, we are walking distance to major Bus Stops and Rail Stations and less than a mile from the Garden State Parkway."
