Read what parents are saying about Brighton SchoolWe were at Brighton for one year and my child was in the pre-k program. The staff was, at best, babysitting our child. When questioned about how things were going, responses seemed superficial or like they didn't really know what was going on. Report cards checked off a lot of good information to assess but no notes were made on each category and appeared to be done with brevity. The school just felt like a public school, nothing really special which is what you would expect when you are paying out of pocket. Definitely not an experience I would pay for again.
Posted by a parent on 6/24/2023Our two-year experience at Brighton School was consistently disappointing. You would be hard-pressed to gather a larger group of more illogical people with questionable credentials than this staff, many of which are related or dating. Emailed concerns were unfailingly met with condescending, dishonest responses lacking substance. Our first clue about the integrity of this school should have been the stock photos on their website, featuring minority children in uniforms (neither of which are present at this school). Our experience and perception were shared widely. There are much better options in our region for a private or public school education.
Posted by a parent on 12/3/2022We have been at Brighton since our child was in Pre-K. They have thrived there and had their social and emotional needs meet. They feel save and teachers are responsive to emails and answer all questions and will have meetings with you. Teachers in elementary focus on reading and math so sometimes science falls to the side. The science education in middle school has been amazing, my kid comes home with fun science facts almost everyday and is constantly making connections back to stuff they learned in school. They love science now. They also really enjoy Spanish and are prepared to take at least the 200 level at high school.
Posted by a parent on 1/17/2022My daughter attended Brighton School from 1st grade until 8th grade. At the age of five, she tested into the Challenge Program/Highly Capable program, but we chose not to send her to that program. That decision was based on how much we had loved Brighton when herolder sister attended the school. We knew our daughter would receive a challenging education at Brighton. She thrived both academically and emotionally at Brighton. She just tested into the International Baccalaureate program at a nearby high school. We are forever grateful to Brighton for her success and forever fans of Brighton School!
Posted by a parent on 1/23/2017We have been at Brighton since Preschool. My daughter was 4 when she entered. She is now in the 5th grade. Our first year was "ok". Then pre-k was better and Kindergarten was awesome. So, we decided to give Elementary a try. What we found was..... Bighton is able to Curtail their Academics to each child needs, because of the small class size and the awesome teachers! This was exciting and a great breath of fresh air!!!! Brighton didn't just say it.... they did it! My daughter is not a Typical learner, but IS a social butterfly and VERY driven! That being said... Brightons Teacher's have always been able to tap into My daughters needs. For US the very best part is the fact that Brighton treats the Whole Child. My daughter feels like everyone knows and loves her. As parents, the best part is what ever We need to make our daughters learning Environment Optimal ....Brighton can Deliver! Every school is not perfect, but Brighton has really been a great experience for our family! I hope this was helpful.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience has been excellent overall. Our daughter loves school, her teachers and her friends. She is developing a sense of wonder, curiosity and learning overall - including a passion for math and science. Because it is such a small school, we know all the parents, teachers and students, which makes it feel like a family. There are many field trips, art classes, drama classes, wilderness education, music instruction, and curriculum taught in a very creative, hands-on way that holds the children's attention. They are learning to be strong, creative, successful human beings, and for that, I am so grateful.Parent Review5y ago - St. Pius X Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal has done a great job in building a staff of enthusiastic teachers who work really well with the students. The smaller class sizes allow for individual attention, and the math program is set up so that advanced students are challenged according to their abilities. As an added attraction, the tuition is amongst the lowest of the local schools.Parent Review9y ago - Cornerstone Christian School
