St. Pius X Elementary School

Our experience has been excellent overall. Our daughter loves school, her teachers and her friends. She is developing a sense of wonder, curiosity and learning overall - including a passion for math and science. Because it is such a small school, we know all the parents, teachers and students, which makes it feel like a family. There are many field trips, art classes, drama classes, wilderness education, music instruction, and curriculum taught in a very creative, hands-on way that holds the children's attention. They are learning to be strong, creative, successful human beings, and for that, I am so grateful.

Great school. My son loves being here.

My son was bullied by another child for a year. The school did nothing. In pre-K he learned almost nothing. Worksheets that he brought home had the teacher’s spelling errors on them. The principal was mean and condescending to me child, accusing him of being a liar instead of believing him and listening to him. School had unqualified staff and hired family members of existing staff. Much of the staff is married to each other!
