NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt all looks great on paper. Small private school, non religious. Catering to neurodiverse children. Unfortunately, the catering to neurodiverse students is grossly exaggerated. As far as i can tell, the staff had no training whatsoever in differentiating instruction or helping neurodiverse students. Communication is a joke. Teachers don't email you back and the head of school will say anything to make things right without any actual follow through.Honestly, I think the school hides information so parents don't get upset. They went too far when they didn't call me about an injury to my child that resulted in an ER visit shortly after pickup. The teaching practices seem archaic. I really regret sending my child here. She is developing a sense of wonder, curiosity and learning overall - including a passion for math and science. Because it is such a small school, we know all the parents, teachers and students, which makes it feel like a family. There are many field trips, art classes, drama classes, wilderness education, music instruction, and curriculum taught in a very creative, hands-on way that holds the children's attention.
