Your child will come home and tell you about being stabbed in the arm by another child and all they did was send him to the nurse. Also they will just move the child from the table instead of having that child sent home for their behavior. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughters first year at Tyee Park was a successful introduction to "traditional" school systems and I believe it was a successful school year. She had an amazing teacher that cared and saw to it that her testing performance scores rose with testing each quarter. I felt as though there were enough opportunities for parental engagement, conferences were held often enough to check in and correct any potential issues, learning, developmentally, or otherwise. I felt heard and understood by her teacher, the principal and other staff. I feel as though the student and staff bodies are diverse, something I was looking for in a school.
