Whittier Elementary School

Terrible my son has been attending three years with this one. I feel alone with the lack of consistency with helping my child grow as an individual. The principal has twice not followed through with plans put in place to better my child's education, self respect and attitude towards himself and others. She knew the importance of following through with the plan put in place by the assistant superintendent to help my child succeed as a student and yet she instead dropped it saying she thought it expired.

I really love Hawthorne Elementary. The front office staff takes the cake. The teachers are top tier. I was hesitant because I’ve heard schools in lower income areas tend to struggle. I’ve had only good experiences at Hawthorne. I have one kid going into 4th and another going into 1st grade next year (2024-2025) and I’m excited to see how they connect and thrive next year.

The teachers are amazing! The principal and senior staff at this school are extremely unprofessional. They fail to protect the children who are following the rules and cater to the bullies. Parents are allowed to behave in an intimidating manner as long as they are friends with the staff. To many politics in their PTA and it is NOT a welcoming environment. My child was physically assaulted by another student and nothing was done about it. My child suffered a huge blow to the head with a massive goose on the back from being thrown against a brick wall by a bully and NOTHING was done.

Everett Christian School has provided our children a wonderful Christ-centered education by teachers who truly care about our kids...and at an affordable cost. I recommend ECS to any families who want their children taught in a Christian environment during their most formative learning years(K-8). As our kids transitioned to public high school, we found them far ahead of their peers academically and they had a strong faith that carried them through the high school years and into college. I believe Everett Christian School(ECS) is the best educational value in Snohomish County. Go ECS!

We have been members of this school family for eight years and I’m so thankful that we chose to send our children to ICOLPH. When we decided to come to this school, we chose it not only for the rigorous education our children would receive, but also because their hearts would be nurtured at the same time. We place a tremendous value on the sense of community this school instills—parental involvement is a huge aspect, and all of the kids (PK-8) know one another by name. In the midst of these unprecedented times, I’m particularly glad we are at ICOLPH. The school’s commitment to our children, and us as parents, has never been more evident—from their quick pivot to immediate and robust distanced education, to their transparency and depth of communication, this school is top notch.
