Read what parents are saying about Hawthorne Elementary SchoolSome of the staff is rude and unprofessional.
Posted by a parent on 10/1/2022Pretty much expected in WA state for everyone to talk down to each other. lol but My daughter is being bullied right now by another student and staff is doing nothing about it but "talk to the parents" again. I contacted the principal directly today by email and told him it's the second offense and we want some plan of prevention or disciplinary action. I am waiting to see if this will provide results and will edit this review after the matter is settled. Details: In January the boy yanked my daughter down to the ground by the back of her collar and proceeded to drag her on the ground. This morning, June 2nd, He snuck up behind her while she was in line and punched the back of her head!
Posted by a parent on 6/2/2022If I could give this school a 0 I would. Worst school ever! The staff at this school talks down on you no matter how hard you try your best to take your child to school. They always have a question every time you sign your child in and always want an explanation. My son was bullied multiple times by other students and teachers did nothing about it.
Posted by a parent on 3/4/2020This is a top not school! Staff and administration are excellent. Finding a way for more parent involvement would increase satisfaction even more. I am thoroughly happy with my experience here.
Posted by a parent on 4/9/2018This school has an excellent teachers and staff. The test scores are lower than the state average, but this is mainly due to the fact that English is a second language for many students. Students come from all over the world, not just Latin America and eastern Europe. Many students are even trilingual. This creates a great opportunity to learn about the world. first hand.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible my son has been attending three years with this one. I feel alone with the lack of consistency with helping my child grow as an individual. The principal has twice not followed through with plans put in place to better my child's education, self respect and attitude towards himself and others. She knew the importance of following through with the plan put in place by the assistant superintendent to help my child succeed as a student and yet she instead dropped it saying she thought it expired.Parent Review6y ago - Jackson Elementary School

From the moment my son entered the school, he was greeted with a warm and nurturing environment. The teachers and staff are dedicated and go above and beyond to ensure the success and well-being of every student. The curriculum is well-designed, offering a diverse range of subjects and extracurricular activities. The sense of community at Jackson Elementary School is strong, and I am impressed by the involvement of parents and the inclusive atmosphere. I made the right choice by enrolling my son in Jackson Elementary School.Parent Review7mo ago - Whittier Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my son’s first year at Whittier and I have really seen him thrive compared to where he spent his kindergarten year. I absolutely love the staff and his teacher. My 5 year old will be starting at Whittier for kindergarten next near and couldn’t be more pleased. This is hands down the best school in the area by far! On the first day of school when I picked my son up he said “mom there’s like absolutely NO bullies at this school!” and I was SO thankful to hear him say that. I recommend this school to everyone.Parent Review1y ago - Everett Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEverett Christian School has provided our children a wonderful Christ-centered education by teachers who truly care about our kids...and at an affordable cost. I recommend ECS to any families who want their children taught in a Christian environment during their most formative learning years(K-8). As our kids transitioned to public high school, we found them far ahead of their peers academically and they had a strong faith that carried them through the high school years and into college. I believe Everett Christian School(ECS) is the best educational value in Snohomish County. Go ECS!Parent Review10y ago - Calvary Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been members of this school family for eight years and I’m so thankful that we chose to send our children to ICOLPH. When we decided to come to this school, we chose it not only for the rigorous education our children would receive, but also because their hearts would be nurtured at the same time. We place a tremendous value on the sense of community this school instills—parental involvement is a huge aspect, and all of the kids (PK-8) know one another by name. In the midst of these unprecedented times, I’m particularly glad we are at ICOLPH. The school’s commitment to our children, and us as parents, has never been more evident—from their quick pivot to immediate and robust distanced education, to their transparency and depth of communication, this school is top notch.Parent Review3y ago
