The principal is very pleasant, has a genuine smile and says hello.The person in charge of making sure the kids go the the correct vehicle needs to pay a little more attention.Another thing I observed is some parents come on the school grounds half naked. Backs, stomach showing and some have no bras on. Wow, I have never seen anything like that in Chesterfield before. I have the best memories from that school it is so fun and engaging. I wish I was still at that school it was the best. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy youngest three children will go anywhere but here. This school was horrible in the 90s, and it was an absolutely abhorrent school for my son. I got beat up for being white in this area on the 90s, he got beat up for being white in the 2010s, then got suspended for pointing out that he got jumped by a bunch of "not white" kids. If you get a chance to send your kids here, pass on that. James River is right down Robious. Don't move to North Chesterfield if you're white or have money, stick to Midlothian or Moseley. The neighborhood is lovely, the teachers and staff are phenomenal, and the families are involved! I love the emphasis on our multi-cultural community. They are being taught love, acceptance, and "ally-ship" which is above and beyond the regular curriculum.
