Fain Elementary School

Excellent! We discovered my daughter has dyslexia the second half of last year while attended a different wfisd school. She made little to no progress last year. This year we enrolled her at Cunningham and her improvement is beyond every expectation I had it could hope for. Ms Keller and the special education team have been a blessing to us. They have helped my daughter to make massive strides in her education and in her abilities to be successful in every subject, especially reading. The best decision we ever made to make a change in her school campus. The staff truly cares about their students and goes above and beyond for each every student!! I highly recommend Cunningham to anyone who listens!

We really enjoy Milam! This is our second child to attend here, and both experiences have been great. The class sizes are just right — not too big — and the teachers, staff, and administration are easy to reach and genuinely care about the kids. There are plenty of chances for parents to get involved, which I really appreciate.Homework feels manageable — my child brings home a fair amount, but it’s not overbearing. I like that it’s sent home at the beginning of the week and due on Friday, which gives families time to plan and get it done without stress.The only thing I’d change is the building itself — it’s a little older and could use some updating, but that’s really just looks. Overall, Milam has been a great fit for our family, and we’re happy to be part of such a caring school community.

Amanda Garcia(principal) Lindsay Rogers (assistant principal) Jennifer Ferguson (counselor) and Robin Inge (front office) failed my kid to the extreme and they all punished us both as victims because I stood up for my kid and other peoples kids. They allowed a kid to inappropriately touch my child and let him go free back to class with no discipline and didn’t take me or my kid serious and okayed in our faces and counted it as accidental when it was clear as day it WASNT! Was so quick to participate in the meeting to ban me from the school but couldn’t quickly protect the kids and stop that kid from inappropriately touching other kids. And couldn’t t jump up to respond to let me know how my kid is safe but can do all of this!?! So if your kid goes through anything at this school and it’s serious , they will try up and down to downplay the situation and try to get you to believe them other than your kid. This school is twisted and soulless and they all work together!!!!! They will punish you if you catch them not doing their job and if you don’t believe them instead of your kid, they’ll punish you or ban you so they don’t have to deal with you anymore. It’s like they are buddy buddy with the grievances people too and it’s like none of them have a brain to comprehend that this school is wrong. So if no one is counting this school wrong and not holding the school staff accountable to what happened to my kid and they just get to punish the parents freely and punish the kids too. Just imagine what else they can get away with if no one in the district is counting them as wrong and holding them accountable for failing us!!!

This is the best school we could ever send our children to, the end was not the best but we will continue our faith and always thank Notre Dame Catholic school for it.

We heard a lot of great things about this school and were terribly disappointed. We applied for their first responder discount they advertise and we were rejected because we are a volunteer and not paid. I feel like them doing that is disheartening and prejudice. Volunteers deserve ALOT of praise for saving lives without any sort of compensation and then when you try to get a discount you are rejected because you are not considered a first responder in their eyes? Despite being rejected for being a first responder we sent our child here. From the very beginning we had issues that progressed as the year went on. The issues were even addressed with the staff and didn't see any improvement. Elementary school should be a fun learning environment not be stressful for your child. Also after putting my child back into public school they were extremely behind in all of their academic classes. I wish you all the best on you or your child's journey finding a school but I would definitely stay away from here. If you do send your child here I hope that you have a better experience than we did. Thanks!

I have had 2 children graduate from Christ Academy and they have not only excelled after high school, but they were ready for the next step going into college. They learned more than academics. They learned how to know what their strengths were, they learned how to reach out to professors and ask for help, they learned about taking charge of their education. They had the support from the teachers every step of the way. Their foundation they learned at CA has been grounded them for their future. We are very pleased with the program at Christ Academy.
