All agreed on these. Why? For emotional support, we'd have tiny lessons each month just so they'd make sure we were all well. Family. They would make sure we'd ask our family for help on HW, etc. Safety. I know all schools have done the drills, I know, I know. But not just that, they also added covers to our doors. Special education. Of course. Anyone with disabilities were surely given the support! I've always seen extra classes for them! Learning. My teachers would try to make learning fun sometimes! Of course we had our laugh. Lastly, teaching. Teaching was always made sure we processed everything in our minds.

My daughter attended THRS for two years starting in Grade 7 and my son has been there for almost four years now starting in Grade 5. We love THRS! It’s wonderful that the same school has served the needs of my two very different kids well. My one child is an introvert and loves the arts and playing in the band. The other is a self starter, loves sports and all kinds of extracurricular opportunities. My children have participated in the band, the play, broadcasting, journalism, NHS and have gone on trips to DC and Boston with the school. The coaches for basketball and track are wonderful and have been a great influence on my son. My daughter is a 10th grader now at a private high school. THRS has prepared her very well for the rigors of high school. She’s in advanced classes and getting good grades in them. Last but not least, the small school environment has provided my kids with great attention and a family-like environment. All the teachers know them very well. The administration is knowledgeable and approachable and has given me invaluable advice on parenting and high school preparedness. I have no reservation in recommending this school.

CCA has been an outstanding school for my two children over the past six years. The small class sizes allow for more personalized attention, and the teachers truly care about each student’s success. My kids were challenged academically, especially in math and science, but they also had strong support when they needed it.There’s a strong sense of community here; the parent-teacher involvement is great, and the school culture promotes kindness and respect.One of the biggest advantages has been the school’s focus on developing the whole child—not just academic performance, but also emotional intelligence, leadership, and critical thinking.
