We love Durham. The new Principal and the fantastic teachers making learning fun while maintaining high standards. There is a very involved PTO and everyone is welcome to support the school. Durham has a small town feel with great opportunities.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had our daughter at this school for three years now and couldn't be happier. While of course she has a "group" of friends that she gravitates towards, she legitimately believes that all of the kids in her class are her friends. The teachers are fantastic and REALLY care about the students (I've seen them moved to tears), and welcome parental involvement! Probably my favorite anecdote about my daughter's time at Clariden is that while watching a show the other day, I had to explain to her what bullying IS. Bullying is so far removed from anything that she's dealt with so far that when I explained the concept, she responded with "Why would my friends at school be mean to me."
