We moved to Southlake 5 years ago, with full intention of having our kids attend Southlake schools. Posted by a parent on 6/29/2011This is by far the best school my kids could be involved in. The staff and teachers are all eager to educate and do so with a loving touch and level of professionalism that is unmatched. The pricipal knows the name of EVERY student and every parent. It is wonderful.

From what I have seen, the teachers all have an invested interest in their students. They try very hard to include parents and create as many opportunities as possible for parents to be involved. I wish we had more parent involvement, but I would possibly feel that anywhere. This is a great school that celebrates diversity and culture. The district is terrible, one-sided and self-serving. So it's no wonder this school has maintained as many wonderful teachers as they have. *Also, the district voted to disband the dual-language program... so if you see it listed anywhere, it will be eliminated at this campus after the 2026-2027 school year. ** The building itself is the oldest elementary in the district, and I believe it is first on the agenda for improvements.Parent Review7mo ago - Katie Parr Music Academy
