The Clariden School

Our son has been at The Clariden School for 1 year now and has fallen in love with learning. The Clariden School is a STEAM focused school that that teaches through project-based learning. This environment creates critical thinkers. They also build their student body's presentation skills by requiring Presentations of Learning (POL) multiple times a year in almost every class. The class sizes are intentionally small so that teachers can spend more time with each individual child. This gives teachers the opportunity to offer more support/ add challenges to each individual student when needed. The Clariden Community is diverse and accepting. Truly a wonderful environment that parents feel safe and secure sending their children to.

Clariden is a great school in Southlake, TX. We love the small class sizes, amazing faculty and rigorous but fun education. They have a lot of STEAM offerings built into the schedule and after-school like rocketry, robotics, drama, art, music, Odyssey of the Mind, etc. The teachers are wonderful - very caring, skilled and supportive in helping students succeed. The students learn via project-based learning method which allows them to learn deeply and retain knowledge in a fun environment. They build life skills like working with others and presenting their findings publicly from a young age. We often get compliments on our child’s ability to speak up for herself, speak with adults, and handle some of her own issues. We credit Clariden for that confidence and ability to think through things. The community is diverse and welcoming, which was important to us. They are pursuing accreditation to offer the International Baccalaureate diploma too so excited to see that.

Excellent Faculty, Beautiful Campus, College Readiness, Welcoming Community: We found Clariden when our eldest was in 2nd grade, and our youngest began in Pre-K. They are both proud graduates. The Clariden School engages excellent faculty members that are caring and responsive. They appreciate partnering with parents to inspire life-long learning. Students are classroom members, but their educational needs will be met individually. For example, our youngest completed two grade levels in one year. The campus is stunning, and the School takes advantage of Bob Jones Park, across the street, for fun outings. The Clariden School values a global perspective, and its student body is a dynamic blend of cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. Clariden taught our children how to lead, become valuable team members, and converse with excellence, integrity, compassion, and courage. Through Project Based Learning (PBL), a technique utilized at all grade levels, students develop the skills to present projects to a large audience. Project topics are exciting and engaging, and they change annually. The Clariden community is welcoming, and the parent organization is a great way to get involved and meet community members. Our family will always be a part of the Clariden community, and we will continue volunteering and participating in School events.

Clariden has been home for all three of my children for over 10 years now, and we could not be happier. The close knit, small community allows for each of my children to have a customized approach for their education. Because let's face it, no one child is the same. And Clariden allows for each of my children to grow and flourish individually. The teachers hired are hands down the BEST! They are helpful, supportive, encouraging, and always available to meet, ask for help, and lend a hand. One of my favorite aspects of the Clariden is their desire for global awareness! My son, who was a freshman this year, went on his first European trip with his peers. And what an eye opening experience that was for him! And since each and every teacher at school watches over my kiddos (and all the students) like their own, I was able to rest assure that he was in good hands for the entire week he was out of the country. Clariden is wonderful and amazing, and I hope every child can have the experience this school learning environment could provide to others. And, each and every time I go to campus to watch my children present presentations, I am in awe at their confidence, speaking abilities in front of a crowd, and their confidence. Clariden has taught them to be strong , independent, brave, and courageous souls ready for the real world! I can't wait to see each of my children graduate in their Blue graduation gowns at The Clariden School.

Clariden is able to provide students with the attention and experiences that public schools may not be able to. It is a community of innovative, forward-thinking individuals and it has been so wonderful to be a member.
