Ed Franz Elementary School

This is a wonderful school. There has been a change in leadership often. But, they maintain the crestview way that has been there for years! The family, camaraderie, and overall environment that is presented has remained unchanged. This school has teachers who fight for their children and love them. There are many clubs, after school activities, and camps. They have remained number 1 in the district and stay a A rated campus. I love the school and would recommend as a student and family member of teachers there.

For the most part teachers are fairly nice here. But when my daughter comes home telling me they tell her to hold her pee and can’t go to the bathroom when she needs to that is very concerning! No child should be told not to use the bathroom when they need to go. This can bring up very serious medical issues. Not to mention the teachers in the lunch rooms are so rude to the kids and always telling them to be quiet and putting them down. This is not somewhere that I would feel safe sending my kid. We will be homeschooling or finding a different school after this year. Do better! These teachers need more training and compassion.

We had children here that were constantly bullied to the point of multiple physical attacks to them. The school did nothing to protect the kids. We gave multiple chances over the years and they let it get worse and worse. Elementery kids getting death notes and threats and nothing was done. There are very few good loving and truly good teachers left here lots left last year. Its absolutely disgusting how children are treated at this school. This place made children absolutely hate school and the whole experience.

I do NOT RECOMMEND If I could give zero stars I would ,not safe place for kids they question kids with out parental consent students gets wrongly accused for serious things they did not do communication is terrible even after speaking with staff would never send my kids again

Amazing! We are moving to another state and are looking for schools comparable or better than Royal Ridge. Our special needs, autistic child has had an amazing experience at Royal Ridge from kinder through 2nd grade. The teachers, guidance counselor, principal/asst principal, librarian, specials, family engagement specialist.. everyone from the 2020-2024 timeframe for sure were great. Diverse. Friendly, informative with parents consistently, active social media page, and understanding of children with special needs. The earlier reviews.. there is a new principal at the school so those do not apply to him at all. He’s been great!Highly recommend this school.
