Coronado Village Elementary School

I had a bad experience in preschool. The teacher didn't integrat my daughter warmly, she was a new student, and the teacher did not communicate to me that my daughter was playing alone during recess and that the kids were bullying her. My daughter communicated this to the teacher. It was my daughter who told me, not the teacher about this situation.The teacher was always busy, there was never enough time to discuss concerns.The teacher is new and did not have enough experience.There were more than 3 incidents that I did not like. I will be absent this year. My daughter will go to another school for kindergarten.

This is a wonderful school. There has been a change in leadership often. But, they maintain the crestview way that has been there for years! The family, camaraderie, and overall environment that is presented has remained unchanged. This school has teachers who fight for their children and love them. There are many clubs, after school activities, and camps. They have remained number 1 in the district and stay a A rated campus. I love the school and would recommend as a student and family member of teachers there.

For the most part teachers are fairly nice here. But when my daughter comes home telling me they tell her to hold her pee and can’t go to the bathroom when she needs to that is very concerning! No child should be told not to use the bathroom when they need to go. This can bring up very serious medical issues. Not to mention the teachers in the lunch rooms are so rude to the kids and always telling them to be quiet and putting them down. This is not somewhere that I would feel safe sending my kid. We will be homeschooling or finding a different school after this year. Do better! These teachers need more training and compassion.

We had children here that were constantly bullied to the point of multiple physical attacks to them. The school did nothing to protect the kids. We gave multiple chances over the years and they let it get worse and worse. Elementery kids getting death notes and threats and nothing was done. There are very few good loving and truly good teachers left here lots left last year. Its absolutely disgusting how children are treated at this school. This place made children absolutely hate school and the whole experience.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this school and the teachers/staff are! It is such a loving, welcoming community. They have rigorous academics and assistance for students who may be struggling. There is a large variety of extracurriculars and sports offered as well. Most importantly, your children will be taught in a setting where morals are taught and valued, and they will be allowed to learn about the Catholic faith and have it integrated into their day.
