Read what parents are saying about Union Hill Elementary SchoolMy two children, ages 6 and 7, just finished their 1st year in the Dual Language program at Union Hill. I think it is an excellent program. The progress that each of them has made over the last 9 months is astounding. We moved here last year from Miami and their Spanish is much better now than it was in their previous school. The teachers are knowledgeable and flexible and work very well with both parents and students.

Posted by a parent on 2/9/2023Be careful about disagreeing with the staff here. They will maliciously react via unprofessional practices that include false allegations and mistreatment of the students involved or related to righteous complaints. They will do nothing about dangerous situations but hide them and avoid fault by any means necessary. Scared to write this message for my families well being but others must be warned. That’s how far they will go with no boundaries of truth or respect for righteousness.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStay away from this school, especially if your child has any special needs. There is a lack of support for children with any kind of social-emotional support needs and a complete lack of action on bullying unless you take your concerns to the district. Trying to work with the current administrators is an exercise in futility, as the blame for anything that happens involving your child will automatically be your fault and your child's and no one else's. If I were the RISD Superintendent I'd shut this school down and completely overhaul staffing, support, and resources as none of it is adequate.Parent Review3mo ago - Caldwell Heights Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 3 children attend Caldwell. My oldest is currently in 5th grade and has been at CHE since Kindergarten. My youngest attending is in Pre-K. This year has definitely been different but has not changed my children's learning. The teachers do their best and it shows through my kids. They love to attend school and are looking forward to attending again next year. The teachers communicate well through email. The office staff if very helpful when needed.Parent Review3y ago - Teravista Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLots of opportunity for involvement, although many parents do not. Teachers have all been invested in my student’s success. A few cases of bulky behavior have been handled swiftly and justly. You can’t really hold the school responsible for the quality of kids and parents who attend. Any school is a factor of what you put in. 7 habits is a great for shaping responsibility and independence.Parent Review7mo ago - Linda Herrington Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids went from Kinder through 5th grade. Every year we had the most amazing teachers! LHE teaches our kids character: integrity, honesty, kindness, and compassion. The school is clean. We had the BEST experience as a family and my kids thrived...academically, emotionally, socially and caringParent Review1y ago - Carver Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhy is this school rater so low? The test results have improved dramatically in the last year (post-covid) and the staff and teachers are amazing. We had our kids in 9/10 school in California and it was terrible.Parent Review11mo ago
