Chavez Elementary Can Be A 4 To 5 Star School In This District

Posted by a parent on 11/9/2022We were so sad to leave at the beginning of this school year. Our youngest was excelling so well. His brother excelled and was put on a track to excell further in middle school. We hope to come back and return for next school year.

For instance, there is poor internal communication between teachers. The school's core values are talked about but not acted out by leadership. The bottom line: Overall academic

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m very disappointed with our experience at this school. I was never informed of any behavior concerns while they were happening. Instead, issues were allowed to build up until they became “a big deal” that suddenly required paperwork and formal processes. Teachers from 1st grade and up have been cold and unwelcoming, making it difficult for my child to feel supported. The administration is extremely unhelpful, and getting any information or assistance feels like pulling teeth.
