Roy J. Smith Middle School

This school has been a struggle for my kids and I. Unfortunately a majority of the staff are rude, unsupportive, talk to the kids ugly and have an obvious I do not care or want to be her attitude. There are quite a few fights and the security measures in place are little to none. If I could do it again I would not have had my children attend this school.

The office staff at this school is rude at first I thought it was just the parents but as my children have continued to go here year after year, I realize that it’s not just the parents the office staff is rude. You can ask a simple questions and they give an attitude. I believe the schools office staff is a School’s first impression, and we’ve experienced the same thing 3 years now. We will not be sending our kids back to this school.

I thought this was one of the better elementary schools here in Killeen other than Brookhaven. Some of the teachers are a joke. This year has been HORRIBLE for my 2nd grader. The drop off line in the morning is just RIDICULOUS. I feel as if you have to open the door for your child or watch them walk to the door then you should park instead of holding the line up.

Fantastic school, wonderful and caring staff, and the best private school in the area!

This school is highly vindictive and will stop at nothing to protect themselves against parents that may be concerned about the smallest things about their children. This school will lie and continue pushing that lie without your knowledge and turn their issues on you! The assistant principal is NOT to be trusted. She is two faced! Don’t trust her with anything. You can tell she loves drama. My son’s teacher is amazing. He’s shown lots of his learning to me.
