This is an awesome school. With beautiful students and excellent teachers.

I have two special needs kids and Brookhaven has gone above and beyond to ensure their IEP and overall needs are being met. The office staff and teachers are super friendly and supportive. I find that they always make the time to listen to your suggestions or concerns. I love seeing the staff and teachers interact with the kids as most of them know them well. Being a volunteer at the school, I am able to see first hand the love the teachers have for their profession. I would definitely recommend this school to other parents.

My experience at this school was terrible. It’s my daughter’s first year at an elementary school due to her being in Pre K, and this school sucked so bad! They give them sack breakfast and sack “dinner” after school. My kid never got recess. Her teacher was always gone without updating parents as to why or what is going on. This school is like a prison. I wish it was on the list to get shut down.

Hands down a fantastic elementary school, especially for being part of the Killeen school district.I have a fifth grader who has attended since kindergarten. He has loved all of his teachers and it’s insane how many teachers, counselors, and aides all remember his name and are always so friendly. They seem to care about all kids and every staff member I have interacted with is generally in a good mood. There is always a very active security person present on campus.There are SO many parent/student nights and various activities that your child can get involved in. Our favorite has been marimba (percussion instruments) band. The principal is changing going into the 25-26 school year so hopefully all of these positives remain despite the change in leadership.

As the Principal of St. Joseph Catholic Academy, I proudly rate our campus 4 out of 5 stars, as we continuously strive for improvement each day. Although this is my first year as principal, I bring 24 years of experience in education. Our dedicated staff genuinely cares about the growth of our students, and we are fortunate to have supportive parents who love to collaborate with us.I host monthly "Coffee with the Principal" sessions to connect with our community, share updates, and gather feedback. We are working hard to become a 5-star school, and I am confident we will reach that goal together.
