Meadows is a wonderful elementary school! My daughter attended Meadows Elementary for three years and I have nothing but positive feedback. The teachers in each grade level (1st-3rd) worked with my child (she is a straight A student) to challenge her and keep her engaged. The teachers have excellent communication with parents and were available to e-mail or meet in person whenever I requested. There are numerous volunteer positions (ranging in very involved to somewhat involved) for parents to get plugged in. Meadows offers several opportunities for the kids/community to connect like: Friday night movies, Fall Fest, book exchanges, run club, garden club, kite/frisbee club, among several others. Overall, a great school to send your child.

Hands down a fantastic elementary school, especially for being part of the Killeen school district.I have a fifth grader who has attended since kindergarten. He has loved all of his teachers and it’s insane how many teachers, counselors, and aides all remember his name and are always so friendly. They seem to care about all kids and every staff member I have interacted with is generally in a good mood. There is always a very active security person present on campus.There are SO many parent/student nights and various activities that your child can get involved in. Our favorite has been marimba (percussion instruments) band. The principal is changing going into the 25-26 school year so hopefully all of these positives remain despite the change in leadership.

As the Principal of St. Joseph Catholic Academy, I proudly rate our campus 4 out of 5 stars, as we continuously strive for improvement each day. Although this is my first year as principal, I bring 24 years of experience in education. Our dedicated staff genuinely cares about the growth of our students, and we are fortunate to have supportive parents who love to collaborate with us.I host monthly "Coffee with the Principal" sessions to connect with our community, share updates, and gather feedback. We are working hard to become a 5-star school, and I am confident we will reach that goal together.

Venable is an amazing school especially for my Sped child. All the teachers and admin work very hard to make sure everyone is successful. They welcome all volunteers and have all sorts of events every month.
