Venable is an amazing school especially for my Sped child. All the teachers and admin work very hard to make sure everyone is successful. They welcome all volunteers and have all sorts of events every month.

The staff here is dedicated to making sure that students get what they need in and outside of the classroom. they make sure that student and staff safety is first and foremost and so much more. your children will be loved on

There is a big feeling of US vs Them and an invisible wall. No smiles, no friendliness. Parental involvement doesn't exist. The rules the have to keep parents away and out are excessiv

Unfortunately a majority of the staff are rude, unsupportive, talk to the kids ugly and have an obvious I do not care or want to be her attitude. There are quite a few fights and the security measures in place are little to none. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to Killeen a year ago. Iduma is located in a friendly community with walkable streets. The teachers are nice and welcoming. I was a parent volunteer for about half of the year. From the teachers to the janitors and the lunch staff, there is always someone there happy and willing to help. Two of my kids have ADHD. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHands down a fantastic elementary school, especially for being part of the Killeen school district.I have a fifth grader who has attended since kindergarten. He has loved all of his teachers and it’s insane how many teachers, counselors, and aides all remember his name and are always so friendly. They seem to care about all kids and every staff member I have interacted with is generally in a good mood. There is always a very active security person present on campus.There are SO many parent/student nights and various activities that your child can get involved in. Our favorite has been marimba (percussion instruments) band.
