Read what parents are saying about Lee High SchoolThe information on this page is out of date by at least three years. It lists Wisdom at the old address, with the old name, and the old scores. While its test scores are not the greatest if compared with the 'best schools' in Texas, it is a school capable of taking students from a variety of backgrounds, believes and origins and turning them into people who can handle the world beyond school. If you want your student to have a fantastic education, with the best programs, and stack on every advantage they have, I'll be honest and say this isn't that school yet. Every year we work toward that goal, but the realities of budget and population are still just that, a reality. If you want more, you'll have to move to a school with more funding in a richer area. However, if you are zoned to our school, your student will receive a worthwhile education and be ready to be an adult. It isn't perfect, but it isn't a 1/10.

Posted by a community member on 3/7/2017well at first i didnt like the school but then i realized the way the school was trying to change its perspective and i truly am seeing results and there are programs that they offer here at lee than in other schools and personally i dont like the kids but the staff are not bad and im not bad so yes i would recommend you to bring more students here at lee plus we are getting a new school building in 2017
Posted by a student on 9/30/2015My son started going here in 2012, at first i was not impressed with the school at all. The school looked very out of shape and worn, along with children that behaved like juveniles. Over the years, I found the school was working for the better to improve the school. You can tell by how the the students were acting and how drastically the demographics were changing. This year, attending a meet the teachers event, I was really impressed and to find that the school was going to be rebuild. In a couple of years this school might actually be worth enrolling your kid in!
Posted by a parent on 1/24/2015Lee is considered a drop out factory. Poverty stricken kids that struggle just to get by. It's a sad epidemic in HISD.

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has a wonderful and unique approach to student learning. It is an IB world school, and we’ve loved how our child is thriving in that model. Also love the grade looping system.Parent Review1y ago - The Harris School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Harris School was a God-send when my child needed a school with more social-emotional support than her old school could provide. The teachers are amazing and they care so much about the kids. I can't recommend it enough! My child has continued to thrive after Harris and is making great grades at her new school, which is all due to The Harris School's commitment to education.Parent Review5mo ago - Montessori Learning Cottage

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRating is not good online, I assume it is because school makes stress on French more, rather than English. We like this school. All teachers are caring and helped my daughter to catch up the missing day programs. So, I can’t agree with rating. My daughter has fun at school, loves to go everyday. Also, enjoys after school programs. I don’t recommend this school for those parents who wants to make their kid super duper smart A+ students on English. This school is really good on languages.Parent Review1y ago
