Read what parents are saying about Greenwood Forest Elementary SchoolLast year our daughter started school here & it was a great experience. She had an amazing Teacher and improved in all areas academically. The communication was good all around from the teacher/staff. We are excited and hope the experience is the same this year.
Posted by a parent on 8/19/2019So far so good. My son likes school so much. I am grateful for teachers and staffs.
Posted by a parent on 9/13/2018If you can help it, do not send your child here. Some teachers are great, however, there’s few. There is no communication and bullying at this school is a real problem. Administration does nothing to correct it. You will be fighting an uphill battle. It’s no surprise that the elementary, middle, and high school in this area are known for being the worst in the district.
Posted by a parent on 2/6/2018The worst of my life no communication with teacher and principals. No returned phone calls. My child is not safe in this school had to visit the hospital.
Posted by a parent on 2/5/2018I have had no problems with the school. Our first grader has had an enjoyable first year.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible. I cannot wait to withdraw my children from the school immediately after moving to a new home. This school is money hungry. If you have a child of color or a child that shows any sign of needing extra help. They immediately began to plot on your child’s behavior. Purposely mistreating them and allowing other children to mistreat them to provoke misbehavior to fill up files of disruption so they can place them in Special Education. Once this occurs the school receives more money. They have fundraisers every month. For what? They receive an extensive amount of funds from the government. In fact so much to where all students don’t pay for lunch. If you send your kids to school with lunch money, it might as well be a donation. I hate this school. It should be a crime and all staff should be reprimanded and placed under investigation. I hate this school for treating my kids unfairly.Parent Review1y ago - Pat Reynolds Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe current principal and the majority of the staff members should undergo communication and health classes to understand how to appropriately communicate with children under any situations. Counselor Villalobos is incredibly biased against students and will never resolve any matter since she has a justification for everything. When it comes to problem solving, Principal Leal does not communicate with any of the parents. I'm not sure how she was named principal of the year since she's created so many problems since becoming principal.Parent Review6mo ago - Greenwood Preschool

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a hidden gem. We lived in the area for years and never knew this school was here in Northwest Houston. It had the highest NICHE school ratings of all the schools in the area, including all other private schools like Trinity, Woodlands, Cypress, etc. So we called the school and did a tour. We have now been here for a year. Northland has awesome teachers and kids to do a lot of athletics and activities. Our kid loves it. And the parents are so friendly and accepting to new people that we felt at home immediately. I don't write a lot of reviews, but the experience has been so good for our family that we highly recommend this school!Parent Review2y ago - Cornerstone Christian Academy
