Read what parents are saying about Donna Lewis Elementary SchoolThe current principal and the majority of the staff members should undergo communication and health classes to understand how to appropriately communicate with children under any situations. Counselor Villalobos is incredibly biased against students and will never resolve any matter since she has a justification for everything. When it comes to problem solving, Principal Leal does not communicate with any of the parents. I'm not sure how she was named principal of the year since she's created so many problems since becoming principal.
Posted by a parent on 10/2/2023I have nothing positive to say about this school, my son has been there since Pre-K and he is now in 2nd grade, the school and teachers do not communicate with parents. The teachers are not as involved in the academic success of the children as I would like them to be...to go the extra mile to make sure the child understand. They tests and what the teachers are teaching them are totally different on some tests and the teachers and kids are not prepared for these tests. I have received a letter last year and this year about the school not reaching the standard in the state test and giving parents the option to move to a school in the district that acheived better scores and I hate pulling my son because he has built relationships with his classmates but I have to do what is best for him academically and consider moving him to another school that can help him achieve greater success academically than this school does.
Posted by a parent on 3/4/2014I am very pleased with the new principle. Our kids will defiantly soar to the top. In the past we've had discouraging principal's. Were very grateful that the current principal is awesome and a great leader to our kids!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible this would be my kid's first year here. My kids came home saying kids were cursing, fighting, and screaming. The teachers are threatening, screaming, and bullying kids. I am not going to say all teachers but this one in particular needs to be removed immediately. This teacher does not need to be in the class she's petty, unconcerned, and does not follow accommodations. The school has a low reaction to parents' concerns and you will get the run around if there is a concern about teachers interacting with the students. This teacher will tell kids things like go tell your parents I don't care I'll quit! I would rather she would because she's the reason why kids hate school. Don't work with elementary children if you dislike them because this would be the time you as an educator will have the most impact on your students. Do not go here, please! I am telling you if your kids came from a great school district this will not be it!Parent Review6mo ago - Greenwood Preschool

The teachers are not only great with the kids but also adept at maintaining focus and stimulating young minds. Parents can trust that their children are in a nurturing environment where both education and community thrive. Greenwood stands out as a testament to exceptional preschool education, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for every child. Some great memories for the Forest class room !Teacher Review2mo ago - Northland Christian School Pk-12

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a hidden gem. We lived in the area for years and never knew this school was here in Northwest Houston. It had the highest NICHE school ratings of all the schools in the area, including all other private schools like Trinity, Woodlands, Cypress, etc. So we called the school and did a tour. We have now been here for a year. Northland has awesome teachers and kids to do a lot of athletics and activities. Our kid loves it. And the parents are so friendly and accepting to new people that we felt at home immediately. I don't write a lot of reviews, but the experience has been so good for our family that we highly recommend this school!Parent Review2y ago - Clark Primary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son got bullied on his first day of school He also got into an altercation. No one called me about this incident. My daughter tried to call me but the principal put her out the office. We just moved here from Maryland and I really don’t like that kind of behavior from the staff at that school.Parent Review1y ago
