Arlyne & Alan Weber Elementary School

I recently placed both of my daughters in stuchbery after 2 years of homeschool with my oldest and 1 year with my youngest. At first I was skeptical, there was some issues at the beginning of the year sorting out car rider lines but that quickly passed in a matter of a few weeks.There are a couple of individuals I’d like to highlight, Mrs. Kuhn, Mr. Cline, Coach Moslanka, Coach Albert Ms. Nguyen and last but not least Ms. Trog. The ones mentioned above have made a lasting impact on my daughters. They bring each one of them up fairly often and look up to them. They make it easy to drop my daughters off and be able to go about my day without feeling uneasy. I would HIGHLY recommend Stuchbery based on those teachers.

South Belt Elementary used to be one of the best schools in the district, especially under the leadership of the former principal before she retired. The school once had a warm, supportive environment where students were truly cared for.Unfortunately, things have changed significantly under the current principal. I personally witnessed an upsetting incident during the book fair where she spoke very rudely to a Deaf Education student in the library. It was unprofessional and showed a lack of compassion and understanding. Sadly, this does not appear to be an isolated incident — she seems to treat people with selective kindness and does not show genuine concern for all students.Another serious concern occurred in May, when the air conditioning went out. The entire school was hot and uncomfortable, with students reportedly feeling nauseous due to the heat. Despite the severity of the situation, parents were never informed. This lack of transparency and disregard for student health and safety is unacceptable.At this point, I cannot recommend South Belt Elementary to other families. I hope more people begin to see that this principal is not fit to lead, and that changes are made to bring the school back to the high standards it once had.

Amazing school and fantastic teachers and staff.

The older lady at the front desk is very rude. I was called several times throughout the year about my child being hit by other children. Not very comforting. I paid for a shirt from PTA and never received it. Called principal to inform said he would get back and never did. The teachers we experienced were very kind! Most everyone else was supportive and nice. Homework was not issued often so I did not have a way to see what my kids were working on. Wish I true identifiers to see where they stand and how to help them more. Very different from previous school.

LSA has been a huge blessing to me and my family. When my daughter was ready for kindergarten we were questioning what path to take. I found out about LSA and when we took the tour I had such peace that this was the place for us, we have been here 4 years now and have been blessed by the wonderful live and care the staff shows to us. Everyone know who I am when I come to campus and they know my daughter and even my son who is about to start in the fall. We already always loved on and welcomed.
