Diversity was important for us, as well as special focus on dyslexia. Lakewood has gone above and beyond for our family. I highly recommend this school.

For example: there is volleyball, environmental, running, choir/drama clubs after school. There is also a Suzuki Strings program with lots of involved families and an active PTA that plans multiple fun

My son speaks english as his second language, but he has been given endless support from teachers throughout the years. They are all very encouraging and accommodating, and he never felt judged for being different. The school is very safe and I have never had any concerns that made me uncomfortable or hesitant from sending my son to school.
