Administration will not back the teachers. They will always care about the kids’ “feelings” more than they will care about what is good for them. Tavallaee also is a two-faced principal who will turn her back on you after acting like she cares about your well-being. Administration threw me under the bus so many times and did not care about what I did for them (Started a Debate Club and became a respectable name in that community). They also loved to hang an “irregularity” over my head and not allow me to test students after one mistake I made, showing a clear lack of trust and forgiveness after anyone makes one mistake. They also do not care about your outside life from the school. Admin shows no regard for maintaining a work-life balance and care more about what you can do after school for the students. DO NOT WORK HERE! Unless you don’t mind a dictatorial principal and not much leeway on what you can do, little to no teacher autonomy.

I was surprised to read a few of the negative reviews recently, but I know everyone’s experience is different. I’ve had two children at this school since 2022, and a third about to join. We are so happy to have found Rosemont! My kids are in the dual-language program. They love their teachers and I’ve never had them come home from a school day upset. They are excited to tell me about topics they are covering in school, and the things they do with their friends. I’ve found the community involvement is uniquely strong— in addition to the highly active PTA there is a robust dad’s club affiliated with the school that goes on quarterly camping trips with the kids, does fundraisers, and sponsors events. At the end of the year there is a week during which local streets close to encourage student biking, ending with a longer group bike ride and celebration in downtown Bishop Arts. The school also offers many extracurricular offerings including a running club, Pom team, chess, dance, and more. Both our children were attending a great private school in our old city, and while the resources are obviously somewhat less, we’ve had a really nice experience and are very happy at Rosemont.

This is a great school. My now adult children still have great learning experiences they talk about to this day. One of the best decisions I made for my children!
