Posted by a parent on 4/6/2024The staff are extremely ill equipped, from the counselor to the principal. They don't communicate and they don't know their own policies beyond the attendance policy which is the only one they care about enforcing. We just moved to this area and will not be returning next year.

My 5 yr old child in the third week as a new school had a sensory meltdown as a result of a known condition and he attempted to insist that a disciplinary referral be written up on him to go into his permanent record.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAdministration will not back the teachers. They will always care about the kids’ “feelings” more than they will care about what is good for them. Tavallaee also is a two-faced principal who will turn her back on you after acting like she cares about your well-being. Administration threw me under the bus so many times and did not care about what I did for them (Started a Debate Club and became a respectable name in that community). They also loved to hang an “irregularity” over my head and not allow me to test students after one mistake I made, showing a clear lack of trust and forgiveness after anyone makes one mistake. They also do not care about your outside life from the school. Admin shows no regard for maintaining a work-life balance and care more about what you can do after school for the students. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEn esta escuela desde los maestros hasta la principal NO ESTAN CAPACITADOS PARA TRATAR CON NIÑOS NEURODIVERGENTES, especialmente la señora Karla Diaz quien dice tener 19 años de experiencia, probablemente con niños que no tengan ningún tipo de diagnostico sea buena pero en mi experiencia con esta señora no esta preparada en lo absoluto, deberían tomar mas enserio al personal que contratan, según personal que atendió a mi hijo me dijeron que el niño podía desenvolverse en un aula regular, el problema era que el niño podía sentir que no era bienvenido en ese salón y el se bloqueaba a trabajar con esta persona, mi hijo de 4 años tenia terror de entrar a su clase, la principal no resolvió nada, la única solución fue cambiarlo de escuela que gracias a Dios encontré personal mejor capacitado para atender las necesidades de mi familia, agradezco a Dios haberlo sacado de ahí, lamento no haberlo hecho antes, en cuanto a esta maestra debería pensar mas enserio si de verdad quiere seguir trabajando en esto y si es así, que se capacite que no creo que le sirva de mucho, por que vocación, paciencia y amor no los tiene.Parent Review3w ago
