Butler is a place that instills both educational and personal excellence in our children. My child has seen improvement year after year with benchmark scores well higher than students their age across the nation. My student from day one took the Butler way to heart, “do the right thing, even when no one is watching.” This incredible Butler staff is engaging, encouraging, and our facility is top in the district. We are fortunate to have an active group of parents within the PTA and Dad’s Club that cohesively works on supporting the student and staff experience. This is our home and happy place where a warm welcome as you walk through the doors is guaranteed! Decisions we make as parents are hard, but let me help you with this one, choose Arlington Independent School District and choose Butler Elementary!

A great place learned a lot and also saw a lot of kids from different back grounds. It was also very welcoming and gives a happy atmosphere and over all has a lot of school pride.

Bulling is a major problem at this school.teachers not caring enough to pay attention to students .

Alot of bullying going around and bringing it up to the principal or teachers doesn't resolve anything.

Sherrod is such a great school! The kids are amazing and the teachers care about your kids. While all other schools are going down, this school is going up! My kid loves it here, excited to be a Sherrod Shark family!

I will absolutely never recommend this school to anyone. My son went there and he got a concussion by one of the students bullying him. I told the his teacher that they should make him and the bully apologize but they said they would handle it and they never did. The students there are so unlike the video and the schools so-called principled rules, absolutely no one follows them or cares about them. The school tricks parents into coming to it by the IB program and the principled rules. The teachers also don't know how to handle the children and conflict. This school is so sad and miserable, do not put your child in this place.
