Moore Elementary School

This is an AMAZING school!! We transferred our kids here from Arlington ISD and have never been happier about a decision. The staff (from administration, teachers, and support staff) have all been so kind, helpful, and caring. And they do it all with a joy and enthusiasm that makes my kids excited to attend school. Plus, they have embedded Character education into their curriculum (even gotten National recognition for it). On top of that, they are one of the few elementary schools that have an AVID program! But wait! There's more! They also have a dual language program! I can't say enough great things about this GREAT SCHOOL. We LOVE CAPA!!P.S.- comments about the removal of a teacher a few years ago are inaccurate. The campus had nothing to do with the removal. It was the district.

This is our second year at Carol Holt and we couldn't be more happy. We find everyone from admin, teachers to cafeteria staff to be welcoming and happy to be there. They all have made us feel like family and happy to be a Holt Trailblazer.

I was the kindergarten class of 2018 for this school, and I will say, this is the best school ever. The amount of fun I had in this school is indescribable. I was more willing to learn than ever. The way the teachers teach is also incredible. I was passing the class with flying colors. I absolutely adore this school and trust me, you and your child(ren) will too!

The classes are good at accepting new students and the only times that anyone was removed from a social group was when they did something wrong. The teachers care for the students equally and they make their classes challenging to make us learn since making classes easy won’t let our brains grow. But as my final statement don’t listen to anyone who say a place is bad you should visit and witness how the school is for yourself
