This school is changing and for the better! The teachers there care about the kids and my child has been thriving! They have started doing things like student council, whiz quiz! She is doing amazing!
Posted by a parent on 4/10/2026I only subbed here for half a day. Students were extremely disrespectful and called me inappropriate names. When I spoke with admin about the name calling nothing was done, it was even brushed off like it wasn’t a big deal. I have never been treated like such a less human being.

Especially when it comes to enrichment and special events such as performances, award ceremonies and field-trips. Posted by a parent on 12/12/2025This school is amazing. My daughter really thrived here. She loved her teachers, her friends, and all of the activities. They had a boo bash, winter wonderland, and so many activities that were fun for kids and families. The field says here are amazing. The kids go to different games and activities.
Posted by a parent on 6/3/2025The principal and staff are excellent. My 3 children attended school there and benefitted from it. All 3 of them graduated from Summit High School and have since graduated from Division 1 schools. Highly recommend the Summt Feeder Pattern Schools.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an AMAZING school!! We transferred our kids here from Arlington ISD and have never been happier about a decision. The staff (from administration, teachers, and support staff) have all been so kind, helpful, and caring. And they do it all with a joy and enthusiasm that makes my kids excited to attend school. Plus, they have embedded Character education into their curriculum (even gotten National recognition for it). On top of that, they are one of the few elementary schools that have an AVID program! But wait! There's more! They also have a dual language program! I can't say enough great things about this GREAT SCHOOL. We LOVE CAPA!!P.S.- comments about the removal of a teacher a few years ago are inaccurate. The campus had nothing to do with the removal. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo not send your child here.On the first day they didn’t even know who my child was and put her in a class of 3 year olds. When I said something about the end of day report app the director said they do t use it for 3 year olds. I said well she is 2…. The two year old class was clearly too full. The infant class smells terrible. The floor and walls are sticky and drawn on.Director is not welcoming and seems in a rush or irritated by parent interactions with her. Lastly they let someone take my child from the school without checking her Id or if she was even on the list. All of this happened in 3 days.This place is cheap and unorganized. I wish I could get my money back but Tonya hasn’t called me back. I want to report this negligence to the state as well on Monday. BEWARE!!!Parent Review1y ago
